Refund Policy

We want buying Gienie Pro to be risk-free. This policy explains when and how you can get your money back. It applies to all Gienie Pro subscriptions (monthly and annual).
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
Your first purchase of Gienie Pro is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee — no questions asked. If you're not happy for any reason, request a refund within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund it in full.
To request a refund, email support@gienie.ai from the email address on your account with the subject "Refund request". Including your GitHub username helps us find your subscription faster, but the account email is what we use to verify the request.
2. Renewals
Subscription renewals (monthly or annual) are also refundable if you contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge. Forgot to cancel before an annual renewal? That's exactly what this is for — just email us within the window.
Renewal charges older than 14 days are generally not refundable, though we consider exceptional circumstances case by case.
3. Cancellation vs. refund
These are two different things:
- Cancellation stops future charges. You can cancel anytime from the dashboard or by emailing us. Your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period you already paid for — you don't lose time you paid for.
- A refund returns money you already paid, per the windows above. When a refund is issued, Pro access for that period ends.
4. How refunds are processed
Purchases are handled by our merchant of record, and refunds are issued by them to your original payment method. Once we approve your request, the refund is typically initiated within a few business days and appears on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Refunds are issued in the currency and amount of the original charge. Where the merchant of record collected VAT, GST, or sales tax on the purchase, the tax is refunded along with it.
5. What happens to your data
A refund or cancellation does not delete your designs. Cloud-saved designs remain readable, and you can export everything at any time. Features that require Pro (such as the deep model, sharing, and new cloud saves) simply become unavailable when your Pro access ends.
